SHIKARPUR: Fifteen profiteers were penalized against receiving extra charges of daily usages essential commodities on Saturday.
Reports said, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Shikarpur Ameer Ali Bhutto along with his staff paid a surprise visit throughout the different markets and who observed prices including vegetables, fruits and other essential commodities and imposed penalty on shopkeepers due to charging extra prices on fruit, vegetable and other essential commodities from the consumers.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Shikarpur warned shopkeepers and said to Shopkeepers their team will conduct surprise visit any time without any intimation in the markets whole the month of holy Ramadan and ensure the original prices in the markets.
GIRL DROWNS INTO CANAL

SHIKARPUR: A 10-years old girl identified as Rabia by caste Shar was drowned into the Godoo Shaakh near village Mehmoodabad when she was taking bath into canal out side of her village in the jurisdiction of Rustam police station on Saturday morning.
Later on, she was laid to rest her ancestral graveyard after offering her funeral prayer. A large number villager attended the funeral prayer.

HYDERABAD: Sindh National Party has condemned the apathy of K electric and federal government on tragic deaths of 3000 plus people in Sindh due to scorching heat wave and coupled with increased power outages. This was stated by SNP leader Ashraf Noonari while addressing huge public meeting at Mehr district Dadu.
He said Sindh was rich in production of gas and oil but its resources were taken away by federal government in name of Islam and Pakistan. He said Sindh generates 5000 megawatt of electricity double than its needs but it was given back the deadly load shedding which was causing deaths to innocent people.
He warned if the load shedding was not ended the people of Sindh would block supply of gas and oil to Punjab and workers of SNP would lay dharna on highways. He said patience of 70 million people of Sindh has exhausted and they were weary of Ali Baba and his 40 thugs.
He said the PPP and MQM has looted the wealth of Sindh during their many years rule. He asked nationalists to form unity and fill up the political vacuum caused due to corruption of rulers.
He the dictators in 40 years could not bring end to PPP but Zardari has done this job in 7 years.
He made appeal to supreme court to disqualify the present ministers and leadership of PPP as billions of amount has been recovered in raids from their homes as such they have lost the qualification of Amin and Sadiq under article 63/64 of constitution.
He said PPP and MQM were heading towards their Waterloo and it was high time for nationalists to replace them as alternate before Sindh goes in hands of N league and PTI. He said his party would take part in local bodies elections.
The public meeting passed number of resolutions demanding declaring MQM and anti state party and banning it,filing case of 3000 deaths in Sindh under load shedding and heat on K electric, federal and provincial governments, autonomy to provinces under 1940 resolution and ending supremacy of Punajb on resources of provinces.
Akhtar Sindhi, Noor Jokhyo, Riaz Malkani, Mushtaq Khokhar and others also addressed the public meeting.
