QUETTA: At least 10 people are killed and 18 others are injured as result of an explosion in a bus at Saryab Road in Quetta..
According to details, the nature of the explosion is being determined by the police. As per initial reports, the explosion took place at the back of the bus.
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said the passengers were not pilgrims, who have long been targeted in militant attacks in the past.
Muhammad Younis, Deputy Mayor of Quetta said the blast occurred near a bus terminal in Quetta. He said usually 40 to 42 passengers travel in a bus like one that has been targeted in the attack.
The Frontier Corps (FC) personnel have surrounded the area and those wounded are being given medical care while the Bomb Disposal Squad has also been summoned to examine the area.
