Sukkur: Pak Navy rescues 372 stranded in flood-hit

SUKKUR: The Pakistan Navy teams in connection with its on-going Flood Relief Operation MADAD have rescued 372 people including men, women and children from different areas of district Sukkur.
During the Rescue Operation, people have been evacuated and shifted to safe places from Saeedabad, Goth Ali Nawaz, Hussain Buksh Lashair, Sohbat Baloch and Kingri of district Sukkur, said
a statement of ISPR on Wednesday.
While establishing its relief operation headquarters at Sujawal, Pakistan Navy’s Divers and Rescue teams equipped with Zulu boats, de-watering pumps, life jackets and life saving medicines were functioning/deployed at Kingri, Ghotki, Khairpur, Sukkur, Badin and
Jati.
