SHIKARPUR: The investigation team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sukkur led by Deputy Director Masood Ahmed and Samar Hussain raided on the office of the Executive Engineer Irrigation Wapda Scarp Shikarpur on Tuesday.
The Investigation NAB team sealed the record for three years of 2013-2014 & 2015 and took in its possession. While the Executive Engineer Younis Ahmed Domki and other officials made their escape good before arriving the NAB team in the office.
According to Deputy Director NAB Masood Ahmed that the raid was conducted following the public complaints received by NAB authorities for involvement of the Executive Engineer Scarp Shikarpur concerned in committing misappropriation and misuse of national funds while showing false record of maintenance, repairing, de-silting and other development achievements.
The FIR will be registered against the concerned officers after checking the record which was taken in the custody of NAB authorities concerned when the arrest of the defaulting officers would be made if they were found guilty during the investigation process.
