KARACHI: After completing his term as Consul General of Switzerland, Mr. Emil Wyss along with his wife soon leaving Karachi to assume his new responsibilities as Consul General in Los Angeles.
The official statement disclosed the Consulate General’s various important projects during his tenure include: 1) furthering business to business contact through 100 days and nights “Pakistan-Switzerland Friendship Exhibition” at the Karachi International Airport – the first of its kind to be held in the country.
2) participation in over 100 social welfare events, and 3) promotion of traditional Pakistani truck art.
In these two years, through its official Facebook page (/SwissConsulateKarachi), the Consulate General from 7,000 followers reached to over 140,000 from all around the world.
