KARACHI: In what appeared to be yet another show of power two people including a policeman were killed in the night between Wednesday and Thursday in Defence area of the city.
The policeman shot dead a boy on the orders of an SSP’s son and was killed in retaliatory fire by the private guard of his victim.
According to the report, Salman Abro, a son of SP Ghulam Sarwar, reached the house of Suleman Lashari, a son of a landlord Mustafa Lashari, along with his police guards and asked one of them to opened fire on Suleman.
Suleman was killed on the spot while his private guard sustained injuries. The policeman was killed and Salman injured in a retaliatory fire.
Police arrested injured Salman from a local hospital and four personnel of Sakrand Police and registered a case at Darakhshan Police Station.
