Pakistan’s economic policies yielding positive results: Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif Thursday said Pakistan is a progressive country and its current economic policies are yielding positive results.

PM Sharif was speaking to a delegation of a British bank led by its head.

During the meeting, the leader of the delegation assured the Prime Minister of making more investment in Pakistan and further enhancing the network of the bank there by increasing the number of its branches.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that if Pakistan’s economy remained on the current path of progress, it will soon be able to achieve a growth rate target of 6 percent.

He said the situation of loan availability to the private sector of Pakistan has also witnessed good improvement.
