KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Haider Abbas Rizvi Thursday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to capitalize in its favour the situation that emerged following the Rangers’ raid at Nine Zero.
“PTI wants to build political castle in Karachi on MQM’s dead body. I want to tell all those people living in fools paradise that this will not be going to happen,” Rizvi said in a press conference.
Criticizing Imran Khan’s statement over the Rangers targeted operation at the MQM’s headquarters, he said that PTI is dreaming to find vacuum in Karachi’s politics so that they could use it in their advantage.
Earlier, Imran Khan lauded the paramilitary troops’ action on Nine Zero, saying that people of Karachi would enjoy freedom soon. He said that the Rangers operation was a sign of change for Karachi; it came late but it’s a welcome sign for the people of the city.
