PTI reiterates demands of immediate resignations of Sharif brothers, Dar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has reiterated his demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the wake of JIT’s findings.

“I would say that their resignation alone is not sufficient. Adiala Jail is their home now,” Khan stated this while speaking to media persons at Bani Gala on Tuesday. “After failing to buy the loyalty of JIT’s members, PML-N has started calling their report an international conspiracy,” he noted.

“JIT’s report has reestablished that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is a money launder and therefore, he should be the first to step down.” Khan said that the entire PML-N family has been caught lying and cheating. “We will soon file a reference against Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the court,” he said.

The PTI chief also lashed out at the PML-N’s ministers for defending the ruling Sharif family accused of money laundering. Khan further said that the whole nation must thank the JIT’s members for their courageous work.

Imran Khan announced to move court against Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif for his alleged involvement in money laundering and corruption.

“We are going to file reference in court against Shehbaz Sharif next. To a query, he, with full confidence, said he was ready to provide the entire money trail regarding his properties.

“Federal ministers are trying to protect thieves rather than catching them. The corrupt people declared in the JIT report should be put behind the bars,” he said adding that ‘the motu gang’ should be ashamed of their conducts.

He said telling lies, submitting false documents were separate felonies. The person supporting criminals was himself committing a crime, he said. In the end, he saluted the probing team for digging the corruption of the ruling family.
