ISLAMABAD: Accountability court, hearing Avenfield properties, Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment references against Sharif family, has summoned ex-prime minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on December 19.
During the proceeding headed by Justice Mohammad Bashir, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris argued over National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor witness Malik Tayyab’s statement in Al-Azizia Steel Mills and asked whether he personally knows those people who brought the cheque.
Malik Tayyab said that he recorded the statement after properly going through the documents.
Later, second witness Adeel Akhtar appeared in the court and started to record his stance regarding London flat case.
The court also directed to present other witnesses Shakeel Anjum, Yasir Shabbir and Affaq in next hearing i.e on December 19. 02
