DADU: PPP MPA Pir Mujeeb ul Haq arrived at relatives of wax-cum-fire broke out home incident which claimed three lives in six days, condoled and gave fifty thousand rupees financial assistance to window of Qurban ali Odhano in Dadu town on Monday.
According to detail, some six days, wax-cum-fire broke out home incident occurred at Shah Muhammad colony in town and all family members received burnt injuries including family head, Qurban Odhano, wife Naz Khatoon, his daughters Darya Khatoon, Marjan, Arfana and son Subhan Odhano. Due to lack proper treatment, Qurban Odhano and his daughter were died three two days back and yesterday his son aged 9, Subhan succumbed to death and death toll rose to three in just six days. Relatives and neighbors collected aid and buried the deceased.
Today, PPP leader, MPA Pir Mujeeb accompanied with Mukhtiarkar, Ghulam Shabbir Kalhoro and others party workers arrived at relatives of Qurban Odhano, condoled with Muhammad Uris, brother of Qurban Odhano, Shaman and Mehboob Odhano and gave fifty thousand rupees financial assistance to the window.
Speaking on the occasion, MPA Pir Mujeeb ul Haq said that incident was very sorrowful. He said that he himself will take care of two affected children under treatment in Karachi hospital. He ensured that according to the reporter of Mukhtiarkar, he will provide more financial assistance to affected family and also announced fifty thousand rupees on behalf of Deputy Commissioner Dadu, Nasir Abass Soomro. He also promised a job to the brother of Qurban Odhano, Muhammad Uris. He said that he knows the grievances of his constituency but due to some activities, he directed Deputy Commissioner and Mukhtiarkar dadu to help the affected family on emergency basis.

LARKANA: Employees of Larkana Development Authority (LDA) continued their protest and sit in front of Larkana Press Club for acceptance of their demands.
Hafeez Chandio, Mahboob Bhutto, Feroz Gul, Shahjahan Kalhoro and others by carrying banners and placards shouted slogans and calling for early release of their withheld 13 month salaries.
They told media men that concerned authorities have not taken concrete steps to address problems of poor employees of LDA, as families of employees are facing the starvation and hardships due non provision of salaries.
They alleged that Secretary Local government is not serious to address the issues and reluctant to release the withheld salaries of 13 months for LDA employees and responsible of present crises, alleged that former DG Asghar Abbas Shaikh and Assistant Secretary Noor Nabi Shaikh were involved in irregularities of millions rupees from 2008 to 2014, sent several employees on visas and damaged the institution, alleging that still they have not handed over the 11 vehicles and 5 motorcycles to sitting officers.
They demanded of high ups to take notice of matter, conduct an inquiry of misuse of funds, corruption of former LDA officials and release withheld salaries of poor employees and address their issue.
They demanded of government to release withheld salaries of LDA employees and resolve their genuine issues otherwise they will continue their struggle till the acceptance of their demands.

SHIKARPUR: Sindh government has determined to get the province of Sindh free from the terrorism and criminal activities to ensure the peace and tranquility in order to enable the people of the province of Sindh to live their lives in peace full manor without feeling any sense of in security and frustration which was their constitutional, democratic, moral and fundamental rights to away. While the Sindh police in collaboration with other federal law enforcing agencies was making out efforts to utilize the legal and moral resources to crush the terrorist as well as other criminal activities without adopting any discriminational attitude to all political, religious groups and party men aimed at providing due relief to the people at a par.
This was stated by Inspect General Police of Sindh (IGP) Ghulam Hyder Jamali while talking to media men on the occasion of a dinner party arranged by SSP Shikarpur Saqib Ismail Memon at his house here on Sunday night.
He further said that following the object of National Action Plan (NAP) the Sindh police have engaged their efforts to conduct tough operation against the terrorists and the lawbreakers on two conventional and criminal front lines at the same time to discourage their criminal and terroristics network he said and added that some of the real culprits and their facilitators were arrested who were involved in suicide bomb blast attack in central Imambargah Karbal Moula Masjid occurred on 30th January of 2015 during the Juma prayer in which 65 innocent citizens were martyred and 73 people were seriously injured.
IGP Sindh claimed that while the network of the terrorist groups was also destroy while taking the bomb making factory belonging to terrorists in village Abdul Khalique Pindrani Brohi within the jurisdiction of Sultan kot was brought under police custody and the big quantity of explosive substance and other material to be used for the bomb blasting purpose.
Besides the other previous incidents of suicide bombing at Dargah Ghulam Shah Marri and village Shabirabad (Napierabad) were also detected by Shikarpur police and the arrested terrorists have also confessed the incidents, IGP added.
He claimed that the Sindh police have succeeded to eliminate the terrorists and the professional criminals in Shikarpur, Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro and other districts of the province while encountering and due to police operations the incidents of kidnapping for ransom, road robberies and other heinous crimes were reduced at a great extent in all the districts generally and Karachi particularly in the province.
Replying to a question about the police operations conducting by Sindh police in various districts the IGP informed that the good quantity of explosives substances and other material requiring for suicide bomb blasting were seized from the possession of some gangsters belonging to terrorists groups and arrested them when they were taking this material for Karachi to meet their purpose of bomb blasting in Karachi. Thus the bomb blasting plan was foiled by police.
