Martyred Hawaldar lay to rest with military honors near Larkana

LARKANA:- A Pakistan Army’s martyred Hawadar, Abdul Raheem Ghanghro, who was martyred in Aurgzai Agency in operation ‘Zarb-e-Azab’ being carried out by Pak Army against the terrorists, was laid to rest with full military honors at his ancestral graveyard in village Bhai Khan Ghanghro, outskirts of Ratodero town, Larkana district, on Wednesday. He was about 38. He belonged to the 12 Sindh Regiment. Martyred Hawaldar was recruited as Soldier in the Pakistan Army in 1998. Martyred Abdul Raheem Ghanghro left behind two daughters, two sons, all minors, and a widow, to recall his sweet memories.
The funeral of Martyred Abdul Raheem Ghanghro was attended by GOC Pano aaqil Garrison Maj. Gen. Muhammad Arif Saleem Warrichh, Brig. Hamid Nasir, Lt. Col. Talat Waseem Arshad, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Jaweed Ahmed Jagirani, SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz, District Vice President PPP Larkana Haji Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Civil, army and Rangers officials, villagers, relatives of the martyred Hawaldar.
A large number of people belonging to all walks of life were also present on the occasion.
GOC Pano Aaqil Garrison Maj. Gen. Muhammad Arif Saleem Warrichh also laid floral wreaths on behalf of the President of Pakistan, Chairman Joints Chiefs Staff Committee, the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Corps Commander Sindh and Brig. Hamid Nasir also liad floral wreaths on behalf Commandant General Sindh Regiment on his grave.
Lt. Col. Talat Waseen representing the Pak Army, unfurled the national flag on the grave of Abdul Raheem Ghanghro, the martyred Hawaldar.
A smartly-turned-out contingent of the Pak Army jawans presented the guard of honor and last respects to the martyr, who sacrificed his life while defending the motherland.
Meanwhile, talking on the occasion, GOC Pano Aaqil Garrison Maj. Gen. Muhammad Arif Saleem Warrichh said that Pakistan Armed Forces’ Zarb-e-Azab against terrorists will continue till victory.
He said that Pak Army’s morale was touching skies after the whole nation extended its moral support to the operation.
He said that the nation prays for all the martyred soldiers for grant of high grades in paradise and success for the Pakistan Army.
Maj. Gen. Muhammad Arif Saleem Warrichh said the nation is proud of its martyrs. He said the army in general and his unit in particular feels honored over the martyrdom of Hawaldar Abdul Raheem Ghanghro. His martyrdom has infused a new life in the troops as well as in the entire nation.
Shaheed Abdul Raheem Ghanghro’s brother Qadir Bux Ghanghro said it was his desire to embrace martyrdom defending the motherland.
He saluted the Pak Army and wished them a total success in Operation Zarab-e-Azab against terrorists and establishment of complete peace in the country.
