ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday contacted Jamaat Islami (JI) head Sirajul Haq to congratulate the JI leader over becoming senator.
Contacts and negotiations between political parties for selection of Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate have accelerated. Ishaq Dar and Pervaiz Rashid contacted Siraj to win his support for the election of Chairman Senate.
JI head Sirajul Haq said that JI hasn’t decided to remain out of the election. He said that the decision to vote for government or opposition candidate will be taken after oath.
