Imran pays utility bill amid civil disobedience call

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had paid electricity bill of his residence amid civil disobedience call.

Imran Khan, in an address to participants of sit-in, had called for civil disobedience and asked his followers not to pay utility bills in order to force the government.

Speaking to senior journalist Saleem Safi in Geo News programme ‘Jirga’, Rasheed said Imran Khan paid electricity bill of his residence while PTI leader Jagangir Tareen paid sales tax.
