ISLAMABAD: The high commissioner of Great Britain, Philip Barton called upon federal Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar in Islamabad.
In the meeting, he discussed bi-lateral relations, extremism, war on terror, increasing mutual cooperation to combat terrorism, enhancing the capacity of law and order agencies and matters of regional interest.
On the occasion, the interior minister remarked that Pakistan intends to remain at peace with its neighbors and will extend its cooperation to strengthen the law and order agencies in Afghanistan.
Chaudary Nisar said that Pakistan and Afghanistan share a border with each other and their interests and problems are of a similar nature. To counter the situation, mutual cooperation from both sides of the border is necessary.
