NWA operation to continue till elimination of all terrorists: PM

ISLAMABAD: The military operation launched by the Pakistan military in North Waziristan will continue till the elimination of all local and foreign terrorists, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday.

In a statement the prime minister said Operation Zarb-e-Azb was started after a thorough analysis of the situation. Prime Minister Sharif added that the operation was being conducted with full force, adding the state would establish its writ in the tribal areas.

According to the prime minister a development programme would be started in the tribal areas following the completion of the military operation.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sharif met with Air Chief Marshall Tahir Rafique Butt and praised the role of the Air Force in the defence of Pakistan.
