KARACHI: Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic, Karachi has informed according to the Spokesman, On 13th December 2014,CHEHLUM Procession will be taken out from Nishter Park at about 13:00 hours. Prior to this procession an Alam Procession will join from Shah-e-Najaf Imambargah Martin Road and a Majlis will be held at Nishter Park before the main procession started for Hussainian Iranian Imam Bargah Kharadar.
He informed that the route of the main procession will be:
NISHTER PARK,SIR SHAH NAWAZ BHUTTO ROAD, FATHER JAMINIS ROAD,MEHFIL-E-SHAH-KHURASAN,MA JINNAH ROAD MANSFILED STREET PREEDY STREET AGAIN M.A JINNAH ROAD, BOULTON MARKET,BOMBY BAZAR,KHARADAR,NAWAB MOHABBAT KHANJI ROAD TO HUSSAINIAN IRANIAN IMAMBARGAH.
He said that as soon the procession will start from Nisther Park all vehicular Traffic coming from city side will be diverted towards Soldier Bazar Road from the junction of MA.Jinnah road/ Dr. Dawood Pota Road and all kind traffic coming from Nazimabad side will be diverted Lasbella towards Nishter Road towards Zoological Garden to reach their destinations.
All kind of traffic coming from Liaquatabad side shall be diverted from Dak Khana left side towards Altaf Ali Bralvi Road, University Road, U.Turn, Jail Flyover, PPP Chorangi, Dada Bhoy Noorji Road , Kashmir Road, Society Light Signal, Shahra-e-Quaideen, Shara-e-Faisal ,Lucky Star , Sarwar Shaheed Road, Fawara Chowk ,Shaheen Complex, I.I. Chundrigar ,Road Tower.
All kind of traffic coming from Stadium Road side shall proceed via New M.A Jinnah Road. These vehicles shall be diverted at Dada Bhoy Noorji Road towards Kashmir Road, Society Light Signal, Shahra-e-Quaideen to Shara-e-Faisal.
All kind of traffic coming from Superhighway side shall be diverted from Liaqutabad No 10 towards Chowrangi No 2 Nazimabad and shall proceed via Habib Bank Chowk, Estate Avenue Road ,Sher Shah to Maripur Road. For return journey these vehicles shall adopt the same route.
All kind of traffic coming from National Highway side shall proceed via Rashid Minhas Road ,Stadium Road ,Sir Shah Suleman Road Hassan Square, Liaquatabad No 10, Nazimabad Chowrangi No 2, Habib Bank Estate Avenue Road, Sher Shah, Maripur Road. For return journey these vehicles shall also adopt the same route.
All kind of traffic shall not be permitted to proceed towards the route of the procession from Guru Mandir (Roundabout).These vehicles shall be diverted onto Bahadur Yar Jang road and again onto Khan Bahadur Naqi Muhammad Khan Road. Under no circumstances these vehicles shall be permitted to proceed along Soldier Bazar road from the junction of the Khan Bahadur Naqi Muhammad Khan road /Bahadur Yar Jan Road.
All kind of Traffic coming towards Quaid-e-Azam Mazar via M.A Jinnah Road will be diverted towards Bahadur Yar Jang Road. No Vehicular Traffic will be permitted to proceed towards Old Exhibition under any circumstances.
All vehicular traffic approaching old Exhibition Via Shahra-e-Quaideen (except those arriving for participating in the procession having stickers pasted on their wind screens issued from the office of DIG Traffic Karachi) shall not be allowed to proceed from the roundabout of Society Office Light Signal behind Mazar.
All Traffic going towards Saddar and other colonies will not be permitted to proceed towards Empress Market from the junction of Preedy Street/M.A Jinnah Road, Court Road Chowk and , Fresko Chowk when the head of the procession reaches near the crossing of M.A Jinnah Road/Mansfield Street.
No vehicular traffic shall be permitted to proceed towards M.A Jinnah Road from junction of M.A Jinnah, Preedy Street when the procession clears this intersection.
DIG Police Traffic Karachi made it clear that no vehicle will be permitted to park along the route of the procession and the route will be kept clear from all kind of parking and other obstructions.
NAZIR AHMED CHAKRANI VISITS BOARDS INTERMEDIATE & SECONDARY EDUCATION

KARACHI: Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh for Education Boards Nazir Ahmed Chakrani alongwith Muhammad Farooq Bugrti, Section Officer (Board), Secretariat of Chief Minister Sindh, Aleemuddin, PS and Muhammad Hassan Khoso, Research Associate paid a visit of the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi and Board of Secondary Education, Karachi on Thursday and held meeting with the Sectional Heads of Both the Boards.
At the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, the Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh was welcomed by Muhammad Imran Khan Chistry, Controller of Examination and. Qazi Muhammad Arshad Hussain Siddiqui and visited all the Sections of the Board and met with the Sectional Heads. He was briefed about the working of the Board by Muhammad Imran Khan Chistry, Controller Examinations and Qazi Muhammad Arshad Hussain Siddiqui, Secretary. The Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh after visit thanked to all the officers of the Board, in extending their co-operation in visiting Boards.
At the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, the Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh was welcomed by the Senior Officers Fasihuddin, Chairman, B.S.E. and Mrs. Hoor Mazhar, Secretary and Noman Ahmed, Controller of Examinations briefed him about the Examination Department, in particular.
The Coordinator to CM Sindh while addressing Officers at both the Board that visits will bring close co-ordination between the boards and the controlling authority and will help in creating healthy and friendly atmosphere for the public in general and the teachers, students and parents in particular.
