T20: Pakistan set 97-run target for Australia

DUBAI: Pakistan made 96 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in a Twenty20 match against Australia here on Sunday.

The Pakistani batsmen had difficulty facing the Australian bowlers and kept losing wickets one after another.

At 71 runs Pakistan’s 8 players were sent back to the pavilion and at that stage it appeared difficult for it complete the remaining overs.

Saad Nasim was the top scorer with 25 runs while Wahab Riaz remained second highest with 16. Raza Hassan remained invincible at 13 runs.

Shahid Afridi could only add two runs to the score board.

Glenn Maxwell took 3 wickets for Australia while its debut player Cameron Boyce sent 2 Pakistani players home.
