ISLAMABAD: Lifting a 5-month ban, the Supreme Court on Wednesday has allowed plying of Qingqis-rickshaws in Karachi.
According to the details, the orders were issued by a two-member SC bench headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed who heard the case and issued verdict.
The court further ordered secretary transport to register and inspect Qungqies across the country and to submit a report on this matter in three months.
Drivers of these Qungqies should be given licenses after complete test, further in the order.
