LARKANA: SSP Larkana Khalid Mustafa Korai has directed the all concerned Police officials of Larkana district to ensure the peace and tranquility during the holy month of Ramzan, there will be no compromise on maintenance of aw and order situation , he said this in press statement on Sunday.
He said that it is prime objective of Police to protect the lives and properties of public so that masses could take sigh of relief and get rid of menace of lawlessness and unpleasant incidents.
SSP further said that crack down operation against the criminal elements has been initiated in different areas of district to deal with outlaws with stern action, added that crime rate has come down after the crack down operations.
While different Police Stations of Larkana district Taluka Police, Badah, Civil Line Police Station Larkana, Ratodero Police, Haideri Police, Dokri and others raided at various areas and nabbed 20 criminals among proclaimed offenders , the arrested men were identified as Ashique Gopang, Imran Umrani, Daim Mirani, Mazari Bozdar, Waheed Brohi, Yaqoob Khokhar, Ghulam Nabi Dero, Bakhat Mirani, Riaz Jatoi and others, Police on the occasion recovered the huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the possession of arrested accused and started the further investigation.

LARKANA: A large number of daily wages employees of Sui Sothern Gas Company SSGC Larkana region on protest call given by contracted employees action committee continued their protest for regularization of their services here on Sunday.
President Contracted Employees Action Committee ( CEAC) Syed Shafqat Ali Shah led the protest and called for the resolution of their genuine issue.
On the occasion protesting employees were holding the banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands and shouted the slogans for early releasing of withheld salaries.
Talking to media men Shafqat Ali Shah said that employees are deprived salaries, despite of several requests and protests concerned authorities are reluctant to address their issue, adding that 150 daily wages employees among Welder, Fitter, Helper, Driver and others have been rendering the services for past 20 years on only Rs 318 per day, where as federal government has announced to provide minimum wages of Rs 12000 for laborers but despite of that concerned authorities are yet to follow the federal government orders.
Shafqat Ali Shah demanded of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chairman SSGC to take notice of matter, resolve their issues and regularize their services.
On the occasion Zulifqar Pahoor, Sonu Khan, Yar Muhammad Narejo, Aqib Khokhar and others participated in protest.

LARKANA:The house of retired health employee was reduced to ashes, Eid dresses of all family members burnt, fire fighting team failed to reach in time to control the situation.
According to details: fire erupted in the house of Muhammad Saleh Lashari a retired employee in health department at Yar Muhammad Colony Larknaa, resulting the all valuables in house reduced to ashes, new cloth purchased for Eid also burnt.
Local people informed to Civil Defense Larkana and TMA office but fire fighting team failed to reach at scene to control the fire, the cause of fire was said to be short circuit.
