South Asia partnership Pakistan (SAP-PK) and Directorate of law Justice and Human rights had jointly observed the Human rights Day with slogan of Human rights 365 on 10 December 2014 at Marriott Hotel Karachi Sindh Pakistan . The advocacy seminar attended by Advocate Rochiram , Justice Majida Rizvi, Ravi Dawani General secretary All Hindu Panchait , Zia Awan Advocate, Jami Chandio Political
analyst , Akhtar , Iqbal Pasha Shaikh, punhal Sario, Hari porhiat Council , Javed Soz -Sindh Community Foundation , Veerji Kolhi , Advocate , Abbass Khoso, Irshad Junejo SAP-PK Youns Bandhani ,Baahn Beli , Veerji Kolhi, Raffia Gulani,Japial Chaberia , Ishaque Magrio President Hyderabad press club participated.
Mr. Iqbal Pasha Shaikh welcomed to all participant of advocacy seminar and said that main objectives of seminar are promotion and protection of human rights in Pakistan. He said that today we have to take oath for protection of Human rights and provide justice to victims of Pakistan.
Shahnaz Sheedi provincial coordinator introduced the SAP-PK and briefly described that its working for promotion and protection of human rights and addressing the key issues of poor segment of society through rights based advocacy and awareness and raised the voice of vulnerable communities in Pakistan. She said that Human rights violation has bad score in Pakistan where extra judicial Killing, Honor killing, sexual harassment, force conversion, religious discrimination, acid throwing, police torture, abduction and killing of political activist and journalist of Pakistan.
Jami Chandio Political Analyst and Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Civil Society Sindh Pakistan said that History of Human rights were started from 539 BC; which described that ethnic discrimination and religious discrimination with his prisoners provided. It is also emphasis on secularism of state and public in the world. State and public social contract was developed and 03 rights were indentified including life security, liberty and property rights. Thomas amended in this constitution and replaced that property right is social rights and happiness is also rights of individual. Universal rights are inalienable rights of citizens globally. Pakistan has signed the UDHR emphasis in 1st Article all human rights beings are equal and state of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is religious based state and we don’t claim the equal rights. He said the religious minority cannot be President of Pakistan and their basic rights are exploited by State in Pakistan. He said that religious minorities have no marriage law and not any legislation procedures in Islamic marriage law. He said that Pakistan syllabus is based on hate speech and degraded the religious minorities in Pakistan. He said that UDHR is completely protecting the human rights but not implemented by State of Pakistan. He further said that Pakistan is failed to protect minority rights including dignity, emotions, identity, freedom of religious, freedom of expression and other cultural rights in Pakistan. Constitution of Pakistan is also discriminating the rights of religious minorities and citizens rights.
Akhtar Hussain, Ministry of religious affairs said that religious minorities are discriminated and operative by state of Pakistan. Religious communities are discriminated and their rights are exploited.
He said that we have to follow the message of Qaid Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah and message should be publicized among government stakeholders.
Justice Majida Rizvi said that government and political parties are not controlling the discrimination of religious minorities and human rights in Pakistan. She said that intolerance, discrimination has been increased against citizen and religious minorities in Pakistan which has increased the migration of religious minorities in Pakistan. She said human rights are violated and discriminated by State. it is not protecting the citizen rights and failed to provide the protection of religious communities Pakistan.
Muhammad Hussain Mehanati X MPA of Jamait islami said that all religion are equal and no none religion is superior. He said that United Nation is controlled by United States of America which is crashing the rights of human being in the world. He said that drone attacks are killing the thousand people in Pakistan. Why it was legalized for killing of human being in Pakistan. He said that drone attacks are killing innocent people of Pakistan in the name of discrimination in Pakistan. He said I am condemning the issue of force marriage and conversion and they have to protect the innocent girls of
Pakistan.
Dr. Japial Chaberia Pakistan Hindu Forum said that Pakistan is signatory of UDHR but not implemented by Pakistan. He said that we are discriminated in basis of religion and our basic rights are exploited.
RAJ Kumar said that state is involved in raising the issue of religious communities in Pakistan. Police and other security institution are not taking serious in issues of religious minorities in Pakistan. He said that separate shelter homes are not established for religious communities… On this occasion other civil society members and journalist has express point of views.
MQM SHIKARPUR CONDEMNED.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement took out a rally against the murder of Voice President of MQM in Sialkot from Muttahida Qaumi Movement office to Press Club Shikarpur here on Wednesday.
Rally Led by Zonal In-charge Shikarpur Abdul Ghaffar Sethar, Joint Zonal In-charge Sakhi Dad Marri, Shamim Akhtar, Muhammad Rahim Mirani, Alla-i-uddin Pechoho, Ashiq Channa and several activists were also participated.
Addressing on that occasion Zonal In charge said that the murder of Voice President Baio Anwar is openly terrorism and we are condemned the murder of baio Anwar.
He further said that which shows the government has failed to protect of public and property.
Sakhi dad marri joint zonal in-charge said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement is representative party of poor masses of Pakistan and therefore we are targeted but under the leadership of Altaf Hussain we are strong and organized therefore we are strongly condemned the murder of baio Anwar.
Protesters demanded to higher authorities to take immediate notice into the matter and arrest culprits.
On that occasion the protesters chanted slogans.

Int: Human Rights day observed in Sukkur & Khairpur

International Human Rights day was observed on Wednesday in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur and other districts of the northern Sindh under the theme of “Human Rights 365” This year the slogan encompasses a single idea, which means every day is Human Rights Day.
Different organization organized seminars, walks, discussion forums, art exhibitions, tableau competitions and consultations in different parts of the Sindhto commemorate the day and highlighted the issues of human rights.
In this regard a Department of Human Rights, Government of Sindh, Sukkur, under the Free legal Aid Center organized a seminar here where speakers said that the Day was also intended to inspire a new generation of defenders to speak up and take action to end discrimination in all of its forms whenever and wherever it is manifested.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Sukkur Dr Waheed Asghar Bhutti appealed to all country-loving people to get united in order to end human rights violations and other injustices & conspiracies in the society.
He said that Human Right’ means right to life, liberty, equality and the dignity of an individual irrespective of caste, creed or sex adding that human rights are always natural so these need to be protected for peaceful existence of human life.
Speaking to the participant, Human Rights Officer (HRO) Sukkur Muhammad Javed said there is the need for celebrating Human Rights Day because we striving to protect and promote Human Rights of citizens adding that there are certain issues of serious concern related to enjoyment of Human Rights.
In Pakistan, he said the celebration of Human Rights Day on December 10, gives us an opportunity to judge the accountability to human rights standards. The day is also celebrated to promote the universal human rights like to live and to do so peacefully, he added. Later a “Peace Walk” also held from District Council hall to Sukkur Press Club.
In another event, a poster exhibition was organized at Bilawal Bhutto Park Khairpur in which students of different academic institutions of Khairpur and Shikarpur participated.
More than 200 students took part in the competition organized by Inter Global Human Development Society (IGHDS).
The students were assigned the task of making posters on the themes of ‘Human Rights for all no exception’ using poster colours and pencils to highlight the issue.
Speaking the occasion, Chief Coordination Officer (COO) Inter Global Human Development Society (IGHDS), Ms Nosheen Khan said every year, violence in the home and the community devastates the lives of millions of women adding that violence against women is rooted in a global culture of discrimination which denies women equal rights with men and which legitimizes the appropriation of women’s bodies for individual gratification or political ends,” she said.
She said violence against women is compounded by discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnicity, sexual identity, social status, class, and age. Such multiple forms of discrimination further restrict women’s choices, increase their vulnerability to violence and make it even harder for women to obtain justice.
She informed that the UN General Assembly had proclaimed 10 December as Human Rights Day in 1950 and this year’s slogan, Human Rights 365, encompasses the idea that every day is Human Rights Day. It celebrates the fundamental proposition in the Universal Declaration that each one of us, everywhere, at all times is entitled to the full range of human rights, that human rights belong equally to each of us and bind us together as a global community with the same ideals and values.
Maqsood Imam, Javed Bandhani, Dr Saeed Awan, Murtaza Ghanghro, Anwar Mahar, Rabnwaz Solangi and others also spoke on the occasion.

Cop with wife died, daughter hurt in road accident near drib mehar shah on Wednesday.
According to detail a cop of Larkana police was going to his village Doda Pur Larkana along with his family, when reached near Dircb Mehar Shah at national high way it collided with a trailer which was going to same side resulted Larkan police head constable Abdul Rasheed Bhayo alias Jurial Fakeer and his wife Mst Mst Naseeban Khatoon were died on the spot while their daughter Beby Zainal Bhayo-8 was injured seriously.
The injured was brought to Gambat hospital in critical condition where from she shifted to Larkana hospital.
The bodies hand over to their heirs after legal formalities by police and arrested trailer driver Ajab Khan Pathan.

Armed man failed to rape polio lady worker near Kumb, one arrested on Wednesday.
According to detail a polio team was visiting at village Imam Bux Palh near Kumb, some armed persons intercepted them and tried to rape a lady health worker (polio worker), the villagers on the cry of team villagers arrived while attacker runaways.
Kumb police had lodged the case and arrested a culprit Muhammad Nawaz Palh and is investigating.

Govt: failed implement fixed price of petrol, petrol pumps remained since three days.
According to detail the petrol pumps owners shut down their pumps in all over eight talukas of district and stopped the selling of petrol on government fixed price. While no any administration person or other agencies take action in this regard due to which people of the district are facing very much trouble.
The people of Khairpur are demanding from authorities to take action against pumps owner and resolve the problem of masses.

The M Phil Seminar was held at the Department of Economic, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur on Wednesday.
Ghulam Muhammad Mangnejo, M Phil Research Scholar under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Rahpoto delivered his seminar on the topic “Fiscal Decentralization and its Impact on Economics Growth in Pakistan.” While Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khuskh, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences & Arts presided over the seminar.
Speaking the seminar Prof. Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Khsuhk, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences & Arts said in his speech that the research work of scholar is up to mark and will pave the way for new researchers in the field of Economics. He appreciated the initiatives taken by Dr. Parveen Shah, Vice Chancellor for the promotion of research culture at the campus.
Prof. Dr. Subhan Gaad, Chairperson, Department of Economics said the Department is rendering teaching and research activities simultaneously. Dr. Gaad said the research work of the scholar is a good initiative.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Rahpoto said that the research work of the scholar is up to the standard. During research study he tried to use modern research tools even added two new variables in proved model and found positive results.
Research scholar Ghulam Muhammad Mangnejo said Fiscal Decentralization will pave the way towards Economic Development and Growth in the country. He said initially Fiscal Decentralization was introduced in developed countries and then other developing countries followed it. He said our neighboring countries India and China have adopted the Fiscal Decentralization process and both are enjoying the high economic growth rate in the world economy. The scholar said a large number of scholars who have done the research on this topic in all over the world and most of them have found a positive impact of fiscal decentralization on economic growth.
He shed light on resources distribution mechanism, said that the resources are distributed on the basis of population in Pakistan and that caused the division of country and some demands are still made for further division.
He said though some other factors have been included in 7th National Finance Commission Award for resources distribution but minor weightage are assigned to them. He revealed that there are 28 Federating type countries in the world except Pakistan, where the resources are distributed on the basis of revenue. He suggested that if same formula will be followed in this country, it will enhance the economic growth in many ways.

KMC TO ORGANIZE THREE DAY GIRLS SPORTS FESTIVAL FROM 16THDECEMBER

Advisor to Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Brig (R) A. S. Nasir has informed that KMC is organizing Inter-district Girls Sports Festival from 16th to 19th December, 2014 at National Coaching Centre Karachi which. Over 1000 schools girls are participating in the event.
The inaugural ceremony of the festival will be held on Tuesday 16th December, 2014 at 3.00 p.m. at National Coaching Center Karachi while concluding ceremony will be held on Friday 19th December, 204 at 3.00 p.m.
