SBRMTA faces rift due to removal of office bearers

LARKANA:
A rift between Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers and Traders Association (SBRMTA) representatives of 1500 Rice millers in Sindh after rift and allegations of removal of three REAP-Rice Export Association of Pakistan members in SBRMTA told President Mr. Abro.
Whereas, the removed members among Haji Ismail Shaikh, Zubari Memon and angry office bearers have decided to removal of President SBRMTA Abdul Aziz Abro by legally way presenting no confidence vote in upcoming CEC meeting to be held on 22 February 2015.
President SBRMTA Abdul Aziz Abro told this scribe that over hundreds members and general body called on the issue and decided to removal of these three members and further told that they have misused of export the Sindh Rice in spite Punjab Rice and billions of rice could not be exported of Sindh he alleged.
While addressing the press conference Senior Vice President Haji Qamaruddin Gopang, General Secretary Assad Ali Tunio revealed that the SBRMTA President Abdul Aziz Abro has violated bylaws of organization and take extra constitutional steps by sacking three office bearers without seeking approval from executive committee and general body, he imposing his favorite which is violation of rules and organization constitution.
They said that President Abdul Aziz Abro had no power to personally set-aside any office bearer it was delegated powers to executive committee and general body to decide and remove legal way, alleged him that due to his poor policies, rice mill owners and traders have faced loss of millions of rupees, President was unable to address the issues of rice millers, they said.
They alleged Mr Abro wanted to shift the head office to Karachi from Larkana to facilitate himself and his favorites without consent of members and legal way, any dictatorial steps will be dealt with stiff resistance.
Leaders told that 11 office bearers out of 15 are against the policies of President and supporting to convene the executive committee to table no confidence requisition against the President Abdul Aziz Abro on 22 February 2015.
Former President Gada Hussain Mahessar told media men that Mr Abro has imposed martial law in Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers and Traders Association and inflicted the loss to organization by introducing dictatorial decisions.
It is pertinent to mention here that President SBRMTA Abdul Aziz Abro had removed three members of Rice Exporters Pakistan including General Secretary Asad Ali Tunio, Ismail Shaikh and one other.
On the occasion Vice President Amanullah Shaikh, Treasurer Ramesh Lal and others were present.

Pak Army Soldier Abdul Rahim Ghanghro who embraced martyrdom during Zarb e Azab operation against Terrorists at Orakzai Agency was buried with full honors at his ancestral grave yard Village Bhai Khan Ghanghro of Taluka Ratodero district Larkana here on Wednesday.
The funeral prayer was attended by GOC Pano Akil Major General Muhammad Arif Waraich, Brigadier Hamid Nasir, Colonel Talat Waseem, Major Shahid Rasool, Captain Nisar, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Javed Ali Jagirani, SSP Kamran Nawaz, Assistant Commissioner Ratodero Raja MB Dharejo, citizens, PPP local leaders and other officials.
On the occasion martyred military Jawan was presented salute and military honor, buried with Pakistani Flag.
Martyred Hawaldar Abdul Rahim Ghanghro served 17 years for Pak Army and was recruited in Sindh Regiment, he was posted at Orakzai Agency of Kohat Cant for Zarb e Azab operation 4 month back, terrorists attacked him on 16th February 2015 at 8 PM and severally injured and succumbed to his injuries.
Martyred Abdul Rahim Ghanghro has left behind a widow, two sons, two daughters and three brothers.

SRSO arranges cheques distribution ceremony under PM`s interest free loan at Shikarpur

The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) on Wednesday has arranged cheques distribution ceremony under PM`s interest free scheme, at Village Seri, UC Rustam, Shikarpur district.
Chief executive of SRSO Muhammad Dita Kalhoro, Regional Manager Dr Ghulam Sarwar Samejo, District Manager Abdul Latif Soomro, senior officials, notables and a large number of women attended the ceremony.
Speaking as a chief guest on the occasion, Member National Assembly (MNA), Ghous Bux Khan Mahar said that it is big development that women are getting PM`s interest free loans through SRSO for establishment of their own independent business.
Hailing the Prime Minister` scheme for granting interest free loans to women folk said it is usher an era of progress, development and prosperity specially in the remote areas.
The MNA Mahar said that women constitute 52 per cent of the total population of the country and their role is pre-requisite for achieving the goals of national development.
He urged the women of the areas to come forward and take full advantage of the interest free loan scheme for setting up their business out lets.
The MNA said that now it is sole responsibility of women to join hand in nation building after availing interest free loans under this prime minister scheme.
He said that there is vast scope in livestock, dairy, embroidery, sewing, garments and other allied products.
Ghous Bux Khan further said that the agenda of successive governments should have been economic development to revitalize the Pakistan’s economy, but it was not so. Had they focused on it, there would have been no poverty, deprivation and backwardness, he added.
The MNA appreciated the efforts of Chief executive SRSO and his team with regard to self-employment programmes and said that the system of interest-free loan was a silent revolution.
Speaking the occasion, CEO SRSO Muhammad Dital Kalhoro said that the SRSO grown into a fully integrated organization working for the poor and marginalized communities to uplift them from the vicious circle of poverty.
He said tha tSRSO works to liberate the latent abilities, skills and knowledge of rural men and women, to enable them to articulate the aspirations to assemble their resources effectively as they can meet their identified needs.
Regional Manager, Dr Ghulam Sarwar Samejo said his organization traveled a long way from an outreach of 3 Union Councils to 314 Union Councils blooming development organization for the Northern Sindh. It works in 9 districts with 2,729,415 populations out of 10,008,889 populations as per BISP Survey report, he added.
He said the major achievement has been through transforming the mind set of community through social mobilization adding that the communities have adopted a culture to confer for the development of their villages; improvement of livelihoods, and adopting habit of saving.
Later, the MNA gave cheques of worth rupees 0.6 million of interest-free loans to 23 women of the area.

He further said that Madaris are not involved in terrorist activities, Madaris are playing role of love and sacrifice, Madaris are creating Buzirigs and Ulema-e-Akram and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam shall be fully cooperate with government he further said and added that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sindh will be holding Azeem-ul-shaan Tahafuz-i-Deeni Madaris rally from Lakhi Ghulam Shah Moor Shikarpur for Sukkur on 26th Feb, 2015. The people of Sindh are feeling the serious sense of insecurity and remaining under great fear of lives after the recent suicide bombing attacks on central Imambargah Masjid Shikarpur occurred on 30 January 2015 particularly and on other areas of the province generally which was the out put of bad governance being adopted by Sindh government.
This was stated by PML-F MNA Ghous Bux Khan Mahar while talking to media men on the occasion of loan cheque distribution to the poor and skilled women at village Sery Mahar near Rustam on Wednesday.
He said and added that the curse of terrorism could not be up rooted till and until the present rulers of Sindh were realizing their national responsibilities to pay serious attention towards the improvement in bad governance to good governance for which the people of Sindh were awaiting to hear the good news from the rulers to drive the special and targeted and joint operation through Police, Rangers and Armey soldiers to discourage the terrorist and anti social activities in order to ensure peace and calm in the district of Shikarpur and the other parts of the province so that the people could breath the sigh of relief who were badly facing the law and order problems since long.
Mr. Mahar while welcoming the visit of Karachi Sindh by the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in connection with fighting against the terrorism to improve the adverse situation of law and order created by the terrorists as well as the lawbreakers in Sindh including the international city of Karachi which was facing badly from the situation of lawlessness he hoped that General Raheel Sharif would prove himself worthily of his intention to utilize all the moral, legal and Army recourse to put the terrorism in end as well as to make his out efforts for stability of democratic process in larger interests of the country and its nation because of General Raheel Sharif was the democratic minded Army officer and wanted to relief to the people from the adverse situation of terrorism as the Pakistan Army was the part of the government to provide the relief to the people of the country at all respects.
Earlier, Mr. Mahar distributed the loan cheques of rupees 0.6 million to the 23 skilled and poor women against the Prime Ministers interest free loan for poverty reduction and encouraging the home industry.

NOTIFIED ACCUSED ARRESTED ALONG WITH HIS TWO ACCOMPLICES.

SHIKARPUR:
The notified accused wanted to police in one tribal dispute case Deewal Khan Qambrani was arrested along with his two other companions by Rangers near village Samandar Khan Gopang within the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police station on Tuesday evening.
Receiving the spy information the Rangers raided on the place where the prominent landlord of Garhi Yasin Taluka Deewal Khan Qambrani was sitting with his friends.
The rangers controlled over Deewal Khan and his friends and arrested them drama tickly.
According to police Deewal Khan was absconding since last some years after the deadly clash took place between Qambrani and Mangsi tribesmen over the possession of agricultural land in which more than two dozens persons belonging to both the parties were killed. While the Deewal Khan Qambrani was a main accused in deadly clash incident.
The government of Sindh had announced rupees 2.5 million as the head money of absconding accused Deewal Khan Qambrani.
Those two companions of Deewal Khan arrested by rangers were identified as Talib Hussain Qambrani and Ahmed Khan Qambrani.

After arresting Deewal Khan and his companions took away to unknown place for further interrogation.

WOMAN MURDERED

SHIKARPUR: One woman was murdered by her brother in law on pretext of Karo-Kari at village Salar Shar within the jurisdiction of Miyan Sahib police station on Tuesday.
The accused Rahmatullah Shar the brother of the husband of deceased Mst Begum was suspected that his sister in law Mst Begum had illicit relations with his relative so he gunned down her.
The accused after killing Mst Begum wife of his brother Arslah Shar escaped away.
The dead body of the deceased woman was handed over to her relatives after conducting post-mortem examination at Khanpur Hospital.
No FIR was registered till this news was flashed.

STP CONCERN ON INCREASING TERRORISM: DOUBT INTENTION OF RULERS

Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party leaders chairman Dr. Qadir Magsi, Dr. Rajab Memon, Jam Ftah Samejo, Abdul Hameed Memon, Gulzar Soomro, Altaf Jeskani, Muhammad Ali Abro, Dr. Ahmed Noonari and Ashiq Solangi have in a joint statement condemned the attack on Imambargah in Rawalpindi and termed it with inefficiency of rulers as they are not serious in tackling the issue.
They said the meetings of rulers with ethnic terrorists were insensible. They said the ethnological governor which was imposed on Sindh during General Mushraf time still continues and has proved safe haven and head of terrorist mafia.
They said with such meeting terrorism was not to end but to increase. They said it seems that the rulers have no intention to eliminate terrorism, and urged rulers to give priority to local people in police and para military forces.
They said due to wrong policies of federal government and its discriminative attitude with small nations the feeling of deprivation was increasing. They demanded immediate justice to Shikarpur victims by arresting the terrorists and punihsing them.
