KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh has announced to launch a crackdown against illegal hydrants in the city.
A spokesman for the paramilitary force said in a statement that the Rangers will start a grand operation against the illegal hydrants from January 20.
He said that owners of the illegal hydrants were funding banned militant organizations.
The metropolis has been facing acute water shortage reportedly due to the illegal hydrants.
