PR to run two trains for Bilawal’s rally in Karachi

LAHORE: Pakistan Railway to run two trains for the participants of the rally of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) scheduled for October 18 in Karachi.

According to the Railways officials, the first train carrying the people willing to attend the PPP rally will leave Lahore for Karachi at 2 pm on Friday.

The second train with the PPP supporters will depart for Karachi from Sukkur at 11 pm Friday.

They said the PPP has deposited Rs2.5 million for availing the above service.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PPP Chairman, will be addressing what the party calls ‘a historic public meeting’ in Karachi near the Quad-e-Azam’s mausoleum on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Bilawal visited the site of his public meeting for October 18.

Bilawal inspected the venue and was briefed on security arrangements which have been put in place for the rally which PPP leaders have claimed will be the largest in the history of Pakistan.

The PPP Patron-in-Chief was accompanied by party leaders including Sharjeel Memon and Qadir Patel.
