PESHAWAR, Apr 22 (INP): The Peshawar police on Wednesday claimed to have thwarted an imminent attack linked to a banned outlawed militants after arresting two men.
According to police officials, police carried out search and strike operation in Ragi and adjoining areas of Peshawar and arrested 34 suspects including two wanted terrorists.
Police also claimed to have recovered a huge cashes of arms and ammunition.
The seized items included 7 rifles, 6 SMGs, three motor shells, two hand grenades, LMGs, 8 pistols and other arms.
