PM rejects increase in petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday rejected a summary for the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had proposed the increase with effect from June 1st. However, the prime minister said that the government will give 1.5 billion rupees subsidy for maintaining the prices of petroleum at the existing level.
