Pakistan women reach Asian Games final

INCHEON: Pakistan women’s cricket team qualified for playing the final in the 2014 Asian Games when it defeated China by nine wickets here on Thursday.
China gave Pakistan a target of mere 37 runs (run rate of 1.95) which Pakistan achieved by scoring 41 runs at the run rate of 5.13 for the loss of only one wicket.
Javeria Wadood made 21 runs while Bismah Maroof scored 13 for Pakistan.
Pakistan are playing in the 17th Asian Games as defending champions after winning the title back in 2010 in Guangzhou, China.
On September 24, Pakistan defeated Thailand by 51 runs in the opening match. Instead of the usual 20 overs, the match was limited to 14 due to weather conditions.
