Pakistan wants to strengthen bilateral relations with Azerbaijan: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan wanted to strengthen bilateral relations with Azerbaijan in different fields, saying that regional connectivity through economic cooperation is the priority of his government.
The Prime Minister said this while talking to Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizada who called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, they discussed different issues of mutual interests including cooperation between in different fields and sectors of the economy.
The Prime Minister emphasized on translating the friendly bilateral relations into strong economic partnership with Azerbaijan.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said his government focuses regional connectivity through economic cooperation to help people of the region realise their true potential.
The ambassador expressed the confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries will improve with joint efforts of both the countries.
