Nawaz Sharif unaware that 70% Pakistani population is rural based: Zardari

Badin: Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari claimed that PPP will form government not only in center but in Punjab too. Addressing a Public Rally in Badin, former President Zardari said that he has received warm welcome in KPK and Punjab and hope PPP will form next government in Punjab including centre. “The heart broken people in Balochistan are calling me and I will soon visit Balochistan as only PPP is the sign of Federation,” he said. Challenging PM Nawaz Sharif he said, “I know your are waiting for March to snatch senate, upper house, from PPP but I would not let you to win senate election.” He announced that PPP government will enhance the Benazir Card to double amount and distribute lands in peasants free of cost after winning next polls. Zardari said that Nawaz Sharif does not understand the notion behind why the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was introduced. “The project was for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, to address the insecurities experienced by the people,” said Zardari addressing a rally here. He claimed that Nawaz Sharif does not understand rural economy when 70% of Pakistan is based on it. “All he cares about is his relatives,” the PPP co-chairman added. Zardari is on a one-day visit to Badin and addressed the rally on the invitation of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and former president of Sindh chapter Ismail Rahu, who tendered his resignation as member of the Sindh Assembly citing personal reasons, on Tuesday. 02
