Naseeruddin Shah slams Indian government banning Pakistani actors

LAHORE: A number of Bollywood personalities continue to condemn Indian media over their reports on India-Pakistan tensions, alleged surgical strikes and other pivotal matters.

After Salman Khan and Om Puri came forward in support of Pakistani artists, renowned poet and writer Gulzar bashed an Indian journalist over a question on Pakistan and Uri attack.

While terming the question irrelevant, Gulzar said that what is the need of asking about soldiers in a music launch ceremony?

Senior actor Naseeruddin Shah has also slammed the government and politicians over banning and threatening Pakistani artists.

While giving an interview to a newspaper, the actor said that Indian politicians change colour whenever it suits them.

He said that the government is brainwashing the people to turn them against Pakistan. Shah pronounced that whenever any Indian artist goes to Pakistan, he is treated with utmost respect. No one will get anything from animosity with Pakistan, he added.
