KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain Thursday claimed that said his party’s candidate for NA-246 Kanwar Naved Jameel will win the by-polls with a thumping majority.
Addressing the workers and office-bearers in MQM’s central election camp in Jinnah Ground, the MQM leader praised his party’s female workers and said they played a courageous role during NA-246 by-polls.
He accused rangers of violating the constitution and laws, saying personnel of the paramilitary force had asked the people as to whom they are voting for. “This attitude of Rangers personnel is unacceptable”, MQM chief said.
Altaf Hussain said hearts of people cannot be won by terrorizing the people through abuse of powers, adding he was hopeful for MQM’s victory in NA-246 by-polls.
