MQM concerned, others satisfied over Karachi operation

ISLAMABAD: A majority of National Assembly members on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.

On the other hand, members of National Assembly belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) expressed concern over the crackdown underway against criminals in the port city.

MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddqui said the aim of the ongoing targeted operation seems to have lost track following what he said the action carried out against political parties.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Abdul Qadir Baloch said the ongoing Karachi operation was not targeting any single political party and stressed upon the MQM to extend its cooperation in this regard.
