Male teachers in KP can carry licensed weapons in schools

PESHAWAR: Following the Peshawar school attack, the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allowed male teachers to carry licensed weapons in the school for the security.

Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, has accepted that providing security to more than 30,000 registered and unregistered educational institution was not possible.

More than 140 people including 130 school children were martyred in militants attack in Peshawar on December 16, 2014.
