GHOTKI: A fully constructed building of a Primary School at village Bahu Kanju near Daharki demolished by an influential.
Sources told that, Government of Sindh had approved a school at village Bahu Kanju three years ago and the construction of the building started after the official orders. The building was supposed to be handed over to the education department for starting a primary school in next few months.
Villagers told to this media person that Ghulam Fareed Kanju, a revenue department official, suddenly demolished the building and has sold the land.
Ghlam Haider Bullu education department official told to media that an inquiry has been initiated from the concerned authorities to look into the matter.
It is worthwhile to mention that even after highlighting the issue in media Sindh Government has not taken the notice demolishing of school.
SEMINAR ON WOMEN’S RIGHTS

SHIKARPUR: the seminar on the subject of “women rights” was organized by DevCon in collaboration with Save the Children at Shikarpur Gym Khana Club while following the International women’s day on Wednesday here.
The large number of Women and Gents participated in seminar.
The Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Hadi Bux Zardari as a chief guest presided over the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Hadi Bux Zardari said that according to women rights the equality of the women have also preserved in the country law as well as the women rights including their equality has been reserved in Islam in which according to teachings of Islam the men and the women have given the equal rights in order to struggle jointly for improvement of socio-economic life of the people collectively as well as to build the fate of the county and its people because of without restoration of mutual cooperation and coordination neither the country could be developed nor the women and men genders could achieve their collective aims and objects of life.
He called for both the women and men factions to realize their obligations and reservations as given in Islam to be fulfilled accordingly by both the male and female genders in order to create and restore equality to avail the basic human right of living the lives comfortably and peace full situation without feeling any sense of violence and torturing committing form women and men sides in order to meet the fruit full results of life by avoiding of the act of violence at every stage instead of struggling separately to meet the ulterior motives.
Highlighting over the gender equality Iqbal Detho the Sindh provincial manager of save the children said that the women rights were reserved in the country law at equal basis but inspite of that the poor attention was being given on the ground towards the due implementation over the prescribed women rights.
However he claimed that with the continuously struggling by the women rights forum and other human rights organizations the women community is availing the women rights in education and administrative public and private sectors at great extent. But inspite of that their is more need of struggles by the women community together with the male community activists at every stage for stability of the maturity in the matter of women equality to work in the society for its welfare.
Among others Jaan Odhano the Sindh provincial member of National commission for women, Din Muhammad Sheikh social worker, Madam Shaqfta In charge of police women complaint centre Shikarpur, Mian Zafar Alvi Chairman Shikarpur Bachayo Tahreek, Mumtaz Mangi the writer, Muhammad Afsar and other scholars spoke on the subject and demanded the establish of shelter house at Shikarpur to provide shelter to the victim women because the present system of Dar-ul-Aman was disliked by the civil society due to its poor facilities and sick services being provided by the managements of the Dar-ul-Amans. #
MQM PROTEST RALLY-DEMONSTRATION
SHIKARPUR: the activists of Muttahida Quami Movement Shikarpur took out rally followed by demonstration in front of Shikarpur press club in protest against the raids on 90 MQM headquarter and the house of the Quaid-e-Tahreek Altaf Bhai here at Shikarpur on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion MQM Zonal In charge Abdul Ghaffar Sethar while condemning the act of raiding on MQM office and arresting the MQM workers which he termed an act of political victimization with MQM when the other political parties were avoided to conduct raids on them.
