KARACHI: A fire erupted in a shanty town located in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city.
The fire gutted at least 200 make-shift homes in the shanty town but there was no loss of life reported.
Fire tenders were delayed in reaching the site of the fire due to VIP movement in the city owing to the 9th Expo Exhibition.
It took seven fire tenders an hour to extinguish the blaze.
