Everest Grammar Shcool holds Urdu Mushaira on Pakistan Day.

Karachi- Poetry is a form of  literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm. To inculcate the spirit of poetry among young generation, renowned educational institute Everest Grammar High School in colloboration with Bazm e Taqdees Adab Pakistan organized Urdu Mushaira at Gulistan e Johar campus on 22nd March Monday to commemorate Pakistan Resolution Day. More than 40 poets from different sections of society were invited to participate in the event who infused galore allure of motivation and patriotic spirit among attendees and students, teachers and social dignitaries. School students performed various tableau marking the Day and stunned the audience with echoing Patriotic songs and folk dances.

Managing Director Syed Maaz ul Hassan in his opening remarks enlightened the soulful spirit of the day by reminding passing of the Lahore Resolution on March 23, 1940, when the All-India Muslim League demanded a separate nation for the Muslims of the British Indian Empire.

Speakers at the event observed that Pakistan Day is a public holiday in Pakistan to remember the Lahore Resolution on March 23 each year. The word “Pakistan” was never used but the Lahore Resolution is considered a major milestone in the Muslim struggle for an independent state in undivided India.
