LARKANA: DIG Larkana has suspended the 4 SHOs and 8 Constables on corruption charges, SHO Lakhi Ghulam Shah and constable were arrested here on Friday.
According to details, DIG Larkana Khadim Hussain Rind on public complaints suspended the 4 SHOs among SHO Rustam Asghar, Ali Muhammad Soomro, Imdad Chandio, SHO Garello Urs Nonari and SHO Lakhi Ghulam Shah District Shikarpur Muhammad Khan over the corruption charges.
Police have arrested one of SHO Lakhi Ghulam Shah Muhammad Khan and PC Nawab Chana on proving corruption allegations.
DIG Larkana also suspended the 8 other Police cops over the negligence of duties and corruption charges.
It is pertinent to mention here that several Police officials are involved in stealing of PARCO Pipeline oil, DIG has taken action against the Police cops, sources said.
One day orientation meeting and training workshop by Larkana police
LARKANA: A one day orientation meeting and training workshop was held at DIG office Larkana organized by HRC Cell regarding the finger prints here on Friday.
The DIG Larkana Khadim Hussain Rind was chief guest of program, besides, Police officials among Women Police attended the program.
HRC In charge Inspector Zarina Chandio, Additional In charge Muhram Mirani, representative of Forensic Laboratory Larkana Abdul Ghafoor Mirani and others apprised the participants about the modern scientific methods for investigation, said that conventional methods should be avoided for investigation of any crime, there are so many facilities to be availed, they said.
They said that Forensic Lab will help Police to detect the crime and enable criminal investigation on scientific basis, added that developed countries are following the modern methods, there is no any torture and harassment.
Speakers said that in case of crime and incident, Police should protect the crime scene, collect the evidences and go through the Forensic lab reports in order to avoid the physical torturing to any suspects.
They told that Forensic lab is operative with different units among Fire arms, Vehicles, question documents, Finger prints, public desk, forensic digital lab and others, said that objective of arranging the program was to educate the Police about the scientific methods for investigation.
Later DIG Larkana Khadim Hussain Rind distributed the certificates among participant Police officials.
A Radio Mela announced to promote folk singing
LARKANA: A Radio Mela will be held at village Wada Mahar near Larkana on Monday 5 May 2014 on the directives of Director General Radio Pakistan Islamabad Samina Pervaiz, all arrangements have been finalized, and renowned folk singers of Sindh will perform at Radio Mela organized by Radio Pakistan Larkana.
Station Director Radio Pakistan Larkana Mukhtiar Malak held meeting with all Producers of Larkana station and reviewed the arrangements and finalized the program.
He directed the concerned officials to ensure the quality program and contribute their services for making it successful event.
