A young Edhi in the making

KARACHI; They say that “The secret to Living is Giving” That is to say, by contributing to the well-being of others, our communities and those who can’t help themselves, we find more meaning in life. Many high-profile people have learned this lesson, choosing to donate their financial resources to communities and causes that need support. Famous philanthropists make a big difference by giving back some of their wealth and set an important example for everyone in our society.

Such is a young chubby & shy boy Syed Maaz ul Hassan along with his parents- is setting glorious example by offering more than he can just bear. From arranging businesses for poor from scratch instead of just charities, looking for the mosques to arrange pump boring in Karachi and the goths nearby where water is needed for prayers during holy month of Ramadan and a number of philanthropist activities. Running an English high school at Gulistan e Johar Karachi as Administrative head along with his mother and father who have given him absolute charitable nurturing for the ones who need it most.

Maaz believes that most philanthropists aren’t in it for fame or recognition. The biggest benefit of being a philanthropist is that it fulfills some of our deepest human needs. We all have these needs: certainty, significance, variety, love/connection, growth and contribution. Which of these needs is most important to us and the ways we go about fulfilling them are What makes us who we are.
