KARACHI: At least 59 people including women and children were burnt alive caught fire in Passenger Bus after collision with Oil-Tanker at Link road of National Highway and Super Highway Karachi near Steel Town late Saturday night.
According to the rescue, A Karachi bound Passenger Bus left Gulshan Hadded near Steel Town Karachi on 11:45pm for Shikarpur.
After 20 minutes traveling Passenger Coach head on collision between Oil Tanker opposite side, which resulted Bus caught fire over 6 persons were injured and saved themselves, but other about 50 passengers among Women and Children were burnt alive in a horrific road mishap told an eye witness Arz Mohammed and the rescue volunteers late night.
Injured were immediately shifted to near by Steel Hospital Malir Bin Qasim, while the dead bodies were shifted to the mortuary.
The Drivers on the occasion, condemned the present Government particularly NHA over the failure of construction of road development that takes the lives and routine horrific accidents.
