KARACHI: In a powerful testament to the growing intersection of media and public service, the senior leadership of Indus Hospital & Health Network has officially nominated Dr Umair Haroon President of Metro One News and Project Director of Voice of Sindh as its Media Goodwill Ambassador. The announcement followed a high-level meeting during Dr Umair Haroon’s recent visit to Indus Hospital, where he was accompanied by Deputy Project Director of Voice of Sindh, Daniyal Jilani.Dr Umair Haroon has emerged as one of Pakistan’s most forward-thinking media professionals, with a career devoted to cause-based storytelling and public interest broadcasting. He further emphasized that Indus Hospital not only provides treatment, but inspires hope, restores dignity, and redefines what healthcare should look like in Pakistan.Deeply impressed by Dr Umair Haroon’s longstanding commitment to social causes and his influential role in promoting science and health-related messaging through mainstream media, the top management of Indus Hospital collectively nominated him as the Media Goodwill Ambassador.
