KARACHI: Sindh cabinet has approved to cancel as many as six hundred thousand weapon licenses that could not be verified on Wednesday.
According to details, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah directed Inspector General (IG) Sindh to speed up the targeted operation and cabinet members to prepare for the local body elections.
Sindh cabinet’s session was presided over by CM Sindh at CM House in which Chief Secretary and ministers of various departments participated.
In the session, IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali briefed on law and order situation while Sindh Minister for Information and Local Body Sharjeel Memon informed the session about water shortage.
CM Sindh has directed cabinet members to prepare for local body election and directed the IG Sindh to speed up the targeted operation against criminal elements.
