LAHORE: Leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and head of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran, Dr Tahirul Qadri Sunday said the government’s days are numbered in the wake of what he termed breaching of various provisions of the Constitution.
Addressing a number of rallies in several cities of Pakistan via video link from Canada, Dr Qadri described as wrong ‘the accusation of derailing the democracy’.
“Here haram is being consumed, unemployment has peaked, mothers are committing suicides along with children,” he snapped, saying amendments in the constitutions are made with a view to protect themselves.
He said his party will introduce such a system that will ensure protection of rights of those who deserve them. “We will make 30 provinces in the country and bring about a revolution of the poor,” he added.
